Hildon Water’s 249.7kW solar PV array has outperformed its performance prediction by nearly 4% for the 18 months to August 2020.
The 908 panel array – installed in March 2019 – has helped Hildon on their mission to become the ‘UK’s most sustainable natural mineral water brand’.
Debbie Jones – Hildon’s Executive Director – commented “We are delighted with the solar PV system. It feels great knowing that every litre of water we produce is made with 30% clean energy from the solar panels on our roof”
Hildon’s array is managed and maintained under BeBa’s Premier Plus maintenance agreement; not only does this mean BeBa actively monitor the performance of the array, they also insure the system for Hildon as well.
‘We have had one or two occasions where gird disturbances affected Hildon’s array’ commented Darren Oliver, BeBa’s Technical Director. ‘Thankfully our remote monitoring system picked this up and within a matter of hours the system was fully operational again.’
