Tangmere Compost

Tangmere Compost Site came to BeBa for the design, installation, and maintenance of a solar solution that would cover the electricity used onsite.

BeBa designed a 49kWp solar solution that would allow Tangmere to use 50% of the electricity generated, while exporting the excess 50% for an income.

BeBa took only a week to complete the installation, and impressed the onsite team as well as the overall Woodhorn Group, who opted to take up BeBa’s 24-hour facilities management services to ensure the continued success of the system.

The key objectives of the group are to be successful from a business standpoint, while integrating strong social and environmental considerations. Their aims are to nurture the environment through activities that protect and support wildlife.

The Group decided to expand their initial 49kWp system with a further 30kWp installation on a second rooftop.

All of the energy generated by the second installation is exported directly back in to the grid, offering an additional income while the first installation continues to meet the site's energy needs.

Key Aims

  • Cover Onsite Energy Needs
